Since you all are so crazy about the idear of PO Chess lol.
What would you see as a version of PO chess. I like the idea of themed chess boards as Excel I believe mentioned. |

I was thinking more back to the Battle For Miniopia thread a while back. Have a good side (white) and a bad side (black), or have rival characters on each side. For example:
White
K=Chibi Knight
Q=Doot
B=Rev, Alexander
Kn=PRG, Sakura
R=Una, Nog
P= Various PO
Black
K=Shino
Q=Sciler
B=Silver Adept, Shadoskur
Kn=Breezeblock(?), PandaManda
R=Lord Kon, Jolly Roger
P=Various PO
Maybe not exactly that way, but you get where I'm going. |

That would work. I like the multiple sets possibility as well (just having various PO as pawns could get confusing...)

I could see a Grey board as well with all the Neutral POs

Actually what could be the best, is if all the figures would be interchangable. You just stick the PO's you want on whichever base. Of course, the bases would then have something the would differentiate them as the different pieces. |
