A simple BeneficiaryFactory attribute defined in the Will object to instantiate instances of various implementations of the Beneficiary interface would have eliminated this problem. If I were the son I'd throw an IllegalArgumentException, caught prior to the Government process's execution, and pass control to the ExceptionHandler to mediate the circumstances and terminate the thread properly. Of course, h4x0r service fees and garbage collection duties would deallocate most of his resources in the process, thus creating a time-space tradeoff situation. |
