Good decision. Thanksgiving is about being together and giving thanks for all of the blessings you have had in the last year and in your life in general. Not about getting back at people or who loves who more. You just take care of you and let the rest work itself out. My family is the same way. My parents are still married, but as far back as I can remember their marriage is based on nothing more than stabbing each other in the back. There comes a point where you just have to say "I'm not going to be in the middle of this any more" and back away from it all.  I hope you have the best Thanksgiving ever this year. ^.^ Am's Family is great! lol. |
