My brother's (the one that made Phobeus) original character was named Wolfgang. He was a supreme badass. Here are a couple highlights.

While searching for the man who burned down his village and killed his family, he finds one of his henchmen. He totures the man to the point of begging to be killed. He tells him he'll do it if he gives him the info he wants. After being given the info, he just leaves the guy there.

Much later during a different adventure, he's captured and put in prison. All of his items except for a single gold piece are taken from him. He scrapes one end untill it becomes sharp. He then proceedes to escape from jail using only the coin as a weapon.

Another game we played was one made by my other brother using d20 rules. It was a sci fi game called Space Renegades. A pretty fun game with some cool stuff. My character was half human, half tekmok. Tekmok's were an alien race that were mechanical geniuses. One of the big things in the game is getting bounties put on your head from the badguys. While on a mission to an enemy mining asteroid, I decided I was going to get one. This particular asteroid mined a mineral called Tilem. It's worth a whole lot, only it's extremely unstable. What that means is that it blows up real easy. Once we get in, I decide to grab some stray nuggets. At the end of this adventure, we're being chased. When we make it back to the hanger, I take a moment to place the tilem nuggets I had inside the engines of a couple enemy fighters. The moment they tried chasing after us, BOOM! The explosion causes a chain reaction that takes the entire facility out. As you can imagine, I got a HUGE XP bonus for that little stunt. XD

To this day it is one of our favorite D&D stories.

Good thing you had a full wand of magic missle. MMs are a force effect and force is one of the few things an ethereal creatue cant outright slurf off on a 50% miss chance. Well done, although if I was DMing Id have set the forest ablaze and threw flaming logs at you. Hell, he probably did, well done!

My warlock (I saw my arbitarily, I dont actauly play PCs, my player that plays a warlock more correctly) does a lot of this kind of thing. He had torture sets on him and keeps some nasty drugs on tap like Liquid Pain (BoVD p 42). Torture is fun stuff ^_^ RPing like your about to get yoru neck slit off is always challenging Razz

I'm just glad in my absence the hilarity hasn't stopped and everyone is still doing things that make Dai have to stop whatever he was doing and rethink his plans...God I miss those words. "I"m gonna ride it..." They never failed to amuse me...if not Dai.

We've has some running gags for awhile.

Whenever we'd get to a town and there was a specific building we were supposed to go to, we'd start asking really stupid questions about it. Stuff like "what color is the building?", "how many windows does it have?", and my personal favorite, "how far apart are the windows spaced?"

Then there's the infamous "blue lightning bolt." This one started way back before I got into it. Someone, I'm not really sure who, got killed by a lightning bolt. For some reason, he asked what color the bolt of lightning was. The dm was like "I dunno. Blue I guess." After that, nearly every time someone got knocked out or killed, he would say it was something blue. That one went on for years. lol

Lastly there's the begger. In like the only modual the DM ever used, there was this desciption of the tavern that included a begger out front. It had info on conversing with him and giving him money. Only thing is, there was absolutely no point to it at all. It didn't affect anything in the end. Afterwards, the begger started showing up all over the place, even in other games entirely.

lol! I love the theme of blue death! heheh, its things like that that you can really only get from D&D, those campegien spanning jokes that survive for monthes and years into new games. Thats the stuff right there.

I had that but it was simply called the BlueBolt. It was basically a bolt of unavoidable energy that came out of the sky and one of my PCs when they were pissing me completely off or purposefully killing the game flow. As soon as I have more time I'll post some stories of my jerkoffs, ...uh I mean PCs. (Which Chibi Knight used to be one of...)

Back when I was a Barbarian, my DM only told me two things:

"You miss him."

or

"You kill him."

About about to get that way with Faye's lycanthrope, Nicolias. So last saturday my villian set him up the bomb and lanced him in the shoulder, but the lance had a silver poison. Hes fine for a month, then he has to pass increasingly ridiculous fortitude saves any and everytime he transforms into his lycanthrope self until he pops. Yay!

Well, he has a month to get the cure from the villian by stealing the Treaty of Thronehold for her...but can he make it in time? I sure hope not!

Half-orc barbarians with 7 intelligence are always fun. My DM usually has meticulous plans, but when there's a barbarian in the party, that doesn't work.

Case in point: At every single tavern Trog (my barbarian) goes to, he knocks out the bartender, grabs a keg, and throws it into the crowd. Eventually he ended up pissing so many people off that my DM made a bloodhound (ranger prestige class) apprehend him, so that all of the people whose families he's hurt or killed could torture him for seven days and then put him to death. Needless to say, that turned his alignment to chaotic evil by the time he got out of there, and now he's on a killing spree to get revenge against all humans and all orcs and all dwarves and all elves. When you've got 7 int, you don't really realize when you bring things upon yourself.
