Oh... I see how it is. You expect us to drop everything and run to AWA every september, but heaven forbid anyone come visit us in Texas.... :p J/k

Regardless of rather or not you guys decide to grace texas with your presence, Dai and I will likely make an appearence at the con. The only variant for us is wether we make it a day or a weekend. But if its all the same to you, we'd love to get to visit with our PO bretheren an extra weekend out of the year.

If there's anything you need us to do down here just let us know.

I'll definitely try to do so. Just got tons going on with my end - buying a house soon, needing to go on our belated honeymoon, trip up to Ohio in February. I really would like to.

There is still a good possibility that Rollergirl and I are coming over still, we wanted to take a few days and pitstop over in New Orleans to do some photography. Everyone else is still up in the air as of right now. I'll update the thread this weekend.

Since we don't have enough for a group discount I'd probably say just go ahead and get your tix solo, instead of sending monies to us to get em for everyone. I'll also check about getting two hotel rooms on reserve as a JIC, I can always cancel em out later if need be.

If it winds up being just us RG and I, how far are you guys from the convention and would it be worth it to split a room or just crash at someones place?

Teh rooms are reserved. I got 2 Double/Double rooms as a just in case, depending on how many people go. Cancellation is 72 hours notice so thats not a big deal. Got the AKON quoted rate of $149 a night + tax. Most likely we will only need 1 at most but like I said, just in case.

As I've said, I'm in the Dallas area and will be there with my friend Chad instow (who's just told me of his plans to attend dressed as Excel *cringe*). I'll be dropping it at Chad's place since he's just a few blocks from the Convention. I honestly had no idea that there were fellow PO's in Texas. We need to designate a meeting place or something.
