The chan sites are essentially a website where people post inappropriate/disturbing pictures, invade other websites, and come up with retarded phrases they use over and over again (ORLY, Longcat is Looooong, etc etc etc)
They are -not- appropriate for anyone under the age of 18, in case anyone was thinking of looking into it. |

7chan is infamous for the more extreme stuff 4chan doesn't allow and the "rule 34" board which refers to rule 34 of the internet: if it exists, there is porn of it
gurochan is a guro server which refers to dead and mangled/amputated/injured pics. there are limits towhat i like there
all the chans are extensions of 2chan which is where the os tans, long cat, and nevada chan (child serial killer) all arose
