Stereotypes

i fit several stereotypes for engineers...coffee addict, precise to a fault, and i dream/think materials/schematics.

then there are the redneck stereotypes like the truck, animal heads, eat anything that moves, and then there is my fam.

i also am a stereotypical american in my insistance that if you come here YOU LEARN,READ, AND SPEAK THE LANGUAGE! i also think that this is the greatest nation and we should keep a military to remind people of this 'fact'.

i am sure i fit others too but lets think for a second. are stereotypes not needed to have a concept of what to expect based upon the majority of a population/perception of population?

I would fall under the catigory of, goth, to some people, but I don't see it, though I do wear black, I don't think wearing black makes you gothic. I also haven't worn black in about 2 years, and If I do wear something black now, it's usually a t-shirt, followed by blue jeans. I ask you, gothic? Me thinks not.

I have also been classified by some as a freak. For my wierd taste. I don't care, i like my taste.

My hair is blonde, red, and brown, all highlighting each other and affecting my brain. I am a complete space case and have a hot temper.

I am told to be a "true" Southerner because I defend myself and my heritage to a fault. It's quite comical at work, because I now answer calls for the Southeast, and my teamlead likes to laugh at me because my accent picks back up halfway through the day. And then at the end of the day, I've picked up the grammar as well if I'm not careful.

And I am a stereotypical female in the fact that my mind is a dangerous place to be. Even I don't like going in there.
