I guess you could say I eat uncommon food a good deal of the time ^^; Here are some of my favorites:
spinach naan and hummus
korma (usually with cauliflower)
tofu tom ka
patak black bean curry
masala
marmite
tempeh
miso mayo XD
muesli
"docter dan's special" (it's basically tofu and broccoli, in a thai coconut curry sauce; really easy to make, and named after a vegan musician who is an actual doctor XD)
And all sorts of imitated meat dishes, which can get pretty strange sometimes XD |

Hmmm....
Cow tongue-not bad but a bit chewy for my taste. Very flavorful...
pork tongue-no flavor and chewy, not a favorite
cow heart-umm....I didnt eat too much so I cant remember how it tasted. It was really really deep red which sort of turned me off
I had some whale sushi the other day. And Id love to try shark.
and...I really want to try that blowfish that is deadly unless cooked right...but its really expensive since you have to go to super nice restaurants and sign a waiver when you eat it.

Apparently I used to eat tripe (cow stomach) and liked it when I was younger. I don't think I could do that now.
When I was in Scotland, I had the pleasure of eating the (in)famous Haggis. If you would like more info on what Haggis is, please let me know.
I've also had gator while in New Orleans.
And for non-meat items, I've had Noni juice. Noni is a Polynesian fruit that apparently has a staggering amount of health benefits and uses. The only problem is that it tastes like fermented grape juice mixed with vomit. |
