Well, at first I was hoping to make contact with a few close friends that I lost contact with after graduation, due to moving and stuff, but I made contact with my friend Stacy last night (made contact wtih a few through Myspace wewt) so Ive been catching upw ith her and a few others, so I may see if they just want to meet up whenever I can come up to GA for my next trip, instead of spending $55 on something I may not really care to spend a lot of time at lol. |

Its kinda nice to see so many ppl who either did not, or don't want to go to their HS reunions...Mine's supposed to be in September. I have no real desire to go. Unless you had some really close friends you lost track of...or you were really popular, then don't go. |

The only reason I'd go to a high school reunion would be to look upon the vast majority of people that were in my high school class...
...and laugh. It would be for precisely the same petty, selfish reasons Ming had - I'd want to delight in how much I did well and they didn't. So it's not really worth it. |

10 year reunions are kind of pointless now that the internet is so rampant.
20 year - now that would be one probably worth going to.
Our 10 year got postponed and then no one took up the lead to kick off the new planning. No big loss really.

Dloe keeps nagging me to go to mine...with the bonus of unleashing him upon any of those unforeseeing idiots. He can talk someone to death and fry their brains from all the info he can shell out...
But its just not enough incentive to go...I hate to think how much they'll charge us too...

I've kept contact with the people I liked in HS and didn't with those I did not. I do not need a reunion to see both groups of people in the same room.
If I want to have a chat with them, I either catch them on MSN or ring 'em up and schedule a dinner out somewhere. |

But, I think you should go and show everyone how awesome you are!!! I think I'll definitely go to mine, although I went to the most ghetto school and most of my friends were from different high schools. It will still be fun to see what happened to them.

Oh Mary...You and your love of school so much that you went back to teach at one. 
The only people I liked leaving my school either A) stole my calculator kind of by accident since he joined the military and his mom didn't believe the calculator was mine or B) became jobless or gainfully employed pot heads the jobless ones disappointed me the gainfully employed one baffles me even today. |
