Not giving away anything too specific, I can give you a list of my main inspirations and you can sort of infer from there:
Alice in Wonderland
The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
The Road to El Dorado
Story revolves around a young man named James "Jack" White Jr, and his best friend Alan Quinn. By certain methods they wind up in a place where they are mistaken as being more than they are. It takes immensely large circumstances for them to even admit they've done wrong by which point the events are far beyond their control. |

Actually, no, not at all. The characters are going to be entirely original, products of my mind; though some of the setting will have a base in reality, anything that isn't based on reality is going to be original. The pieces listed are simply pieces which inspired me as far as themes or central ideas that I could really wrap my brain around and use in the story. |

At some point publishing would be the intent. I wouldn't even consider it, though, for quite a while. I need to see how things go first. |
