I meant that they wouldn't try to convert you, not the other way around. ^^ I just want to learn about the religions, not necessarily convert.

I know she said there was a really good Hindu temple, and I think she mentioned a Buddhist/Confucianist temple as well. I've seen a couple others in the area too I want to visit someday when I've got time.

I'm not in school, and plan to avoid it like the plague for the rest of my natural life. (If I become undead, though, I totally wouldn't mind exlporing some of the really old colleges. Ivy-covered professors in ivy-covered halls, and all that.)

But here's the list of things I'd like to learn outside of school:

Tai Chi
Business Management
Creative Writing
Screenwriting
Musical Composition
Automobile Design
Game Design
Architecture
Public Speaking
Iaido
Bonsai
Chi Gung
Theoretical Physics
JAVA
C++
HTML
Hibachi Grilling
Wine (Everything pertaining thereto)
Wok

And my personal favorite:

Global Domination

Is my list long enough? <_<

Oh yeah, I neglected to put what I'm currently learning, because I'm not. Unless you count a constant background pursuit of writing perfection, and I would if I was getting more accomplished, but I'm not, so I don't.

I guess I don't really have a list of things I want to learn. When I notice something interesting I just go out and explore it.

Legend, if you are in the Metro Atlanta area then you can find religious institutions for just about anything =). I just mentioned that little factoid about Judaism because I find it amusing. The best time to go to a Jewish Temple to learn is on Saturday mornings because that is typically when they do Torah Study, and if you talk to most Rabbis they will be glad to have their brains picked.

I used to go to Temple alot when I was younger, but I've stopped going. If you want I can take you to the Temple that I used to go to.

XD I do live in the Metro Atlanta area...er...sort've. xD On weekends I live with Shino-sama in the Roswell area and on weekdays I live with my parents (because my school is closer to my parents' house by far) in Dawsonville/Cumming area. And I don't drive in Atlanta proper.

But I'm also painfully shy, so I'd probably have to drag Shino-sama along. It's something I plan to do when we have kids anyhow, though. I want them to experience all the different religions and cultural diversity at least once.

I'm actually learning various forms of religion. From Wica (or Wicca...I still have trouble finding the exact spelling) to Shinto. I'm also reading Musashi Miyamoto's "Book of the Five Rings" as well as how to do those Tarot cards. Soon everyone will see my mug on the TV goin " Call me now for your free readin'!" in my fake, yet horrificly bad, jamaican accent.

Off topic but Ive always wondered what the term "metro" means if it includes areas like roswell and cumming...not that I have anything against them, I guess I've just always considered atlanta to be downtown, midtown, the east area (the village, little five, etc), and then that area with emory...furthur out I feel is pushing it^.^ I mean, I know TECHNICALLY atlanta is wider than that...but really...
^.^

Metro Atlanta is basically the perimeter, and about 10 -15 miles around it.

Atlanta is like the Borg, it assimaltes counties and small cities into one big collective. By 2050, we will be using Georgia, Atlanta =).
