If you don't mind a horrifically bitter aftertaste... you can put Quinine in it (main ingredient in Tonic Water) it glows very brightly in blacklight.

All I know is that Baja Blast is one of the high points in my life and I hate Taco Bell for getting a monopoly on it. :/

I just saw that video. It looks fairly convincing, but if you read comments in response, it appears that it's all a big hoax, and likey the guy in the video used some fancy editing, or added some other ingredients (like the stuff in glowsticks).

I'm a big fan of the Mountain Dew Family.

My first couple cups of Baja Blast were great, its just hard to find a good Taco Bell that doesn't water it down so much.

My fav is Code Red---Cherry version

Original has its moments

Then there are the 3 lesser known side flavors that come and go:
Gamer's Fuel---Not bad, just really strong and sweet. Gearran once described it as a "liquid Gummy Bear". Its out now as a big Halo3 promo.

Live Wire---An Orange version which sadly conflicts with their contract with another carbonated orange drink that they produce (can't remeber the name) So its really hard to find...last time was in WAY South Ga in Odem or Jesup.

Pitch Black---A Grape / Sour Grape version that was a promo a couple years back for Halloween. They're just being Asshats for not releasing it back out there again. I've bugged Mountain Dew personally about that to where I don't even think its offered in GA anymore....morons.

But, Dloe and I were having a conversation about this today in that we just don't enjoy Mountain Dew as much as we used to. It tastes off to me lately, like they altered their formula. I typically like the Diet versions of the Original and Code Red...but they've just tasted nasty to me.

Of all things, I've been drinking Flavored and Plain Seltzer water lately...I like the bubbles. Rolling Eyes

When Live Wire first came out, I drank it like it was going out of style because it was a limited edition product then. Now that I think about it, it was probably a bad idea...and now it's been a while since I've had any, even though I see it around here every now and then.

As far as the other flavors are concerned, I really can only stand the regular (or diet regular). Everything else tastes pretty nasty to me, and I can't understand why so many people love Code Red so much. It tastes like Mountain Dew with cough syrup in it...

Now when I want something carbonated, I reach for Pellegrino...or just plain seltzer.
