I've been playing the game more and it really is a lot of fun.
I found a place that has boosters for $2.50 and decks for $10. I may pick some up from them... but they don't have them in stock right now.
There's several levels of difficulty for the computer.
I played my first 2 games on Beginner.
My next 2 games on Amateur.
Yesterday, I beat the computer on Amateur in 10 turns. Each player's turn is 1 turn. Since you need to have 5 creatures on the board at one time to win, 10 is the minimum number of turns to win. At least as far as I've seen so far. So I think it's time for me to move to normal. |

Maybe it's time you play online with someone else. AI can only think how the programmer built it, but someone else can look outside the box and make it interesting.
Maybe you should do that! Would be fun, I'd think! |

I will.
Problem is that I still just have the starter deck.
I want to get one of the theme decks and learn some of the finer points of the game first.
Oh... and you know Aiman... your sig is way to big!
Cut it down a bit will ya. |

The price isn't all THAT bad considering the market for top CCgs.
-Pokemon runs $3.70-$4.00 for 10 card boosters, $13-15 for decks
-Yugioh is $4.00-$5.00 for 9 cards, $13-16 for decks
If you compare it to those two then it's right on par. Comparing it to Magic may be a bit unfair as Magic has so large a distribution it changes the landscape (like comparing Walmart prices to anybody else's). I have a local card store near my mom's that has really good prices (Pokemon boosters $3, Yugioh $3.50) so I'll see if they have/might get the cards. I don't know for sure cause they're strictly cards/figures and might not delve into vidgame stuff but we'll see next week.
If Nin would have jumped on this with the Pokemon game (or created one) then I would have been all over it. That E-Card idea was...questionable at best.
Eye Of Judgement IS a system seller to me if it has any AI at all AND is playable online. My girl asked if I wanted a PS3 or XB360 this Xmas as a possibility and this is a game that does help Sony's standing with me. I've never been a mainstream gamer tho.
Added: Amazon has the game at $69.99 and the boosters for $3.99 with free shipping (over $25) so you could add the boosters to the game in one package or just order 9 boosters and not even have to pay tax.
I'll be talking to you about this game, Shino. |

The game is really good for what it is.
The online is apparently pretty damn good. Besides the issue with scanned printouts of the cards working with the eye.
But overall, I've heard that the online game works very well.
Along with voice chat.
What you should do is check out Youtube and see if you can find someone that has posted a video of a full game. |

Aiman... I didn't mess with you're sig... but it is to big... takes up too much vertical space.
here's a video if anyone wants to watch a good game that lasts almost an hour...
The video is excellently done. Has basically a PIP setup... one of the actual mat and one of the screen.
The sound seems to go out of sync about 1/4 of the way in, but it's still pretty good.
If anyone has any questions about what happens in a turn, just let me know the question and the turn in the game (number inside the circle in the top center of the screen) and I'll try to explain it. |

I was at Target the other day and saw decks for Eye of Judgment. I'm pretty sure they were $10. I looked for booster packs, but didn't see any, although the area was kind of messy and I may have just missed them. Although Target sometimes seems to get theme decks in before packs, from what I've seen anyway.
Just an FYI for you guys... |
