You know, I have GH3, and I'm not impressed. I just bought it because I'm developing an OCD over video games. I have to buy anything new that comes out, apparently. Like I just bought Call of Duty 4 and Lego Star Wars, The Complete Saga.
GH3, is alright, but nothing really new except the guitar battles. |

I agree. I was just happy to get new songs to play with. The only thing that REALLY pissed me off about it is that they ditched Eddie Knox!! WTF?!?!?

Yeah what the hell is up with that?
I got my free copy in the mail, It's pretty fun so far.
Me and Terin have been rocking it co-op, I'm really glad AFI is in there.
GH2 did bring much better multiplayer and hammer-on/pull-off systems.
GH3 at least brings online (WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN GH2) and some more multiplayer zaniness. It's fun for me, and that's all -I- really care about. I'm still planning on getting Rock Band some day. More songs are always more fun. I may not like -all- the songs, but then again I never liked -all- the songs on either of the other previous games.
Also in the interest of not getting drawn into a long winded debate about things, I'd like to remind everyone to keep your rock band comments in the Rock Band thread. |

You know, I haven't really noticed until you mentioned it. lol I didn't really used any of the guy guitarists. My exgf used to play with Pandora, and I used to play with Judy Nails, but with the ugliness of Judy now, I have switched to the lovable and cute, and asian of course, Midori! With her orange puffy outfit and the star shaped guitar, she rawks da house!
I'm still stuck in the last set on Expert. The only song I could beat was "The Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden. I went back and did Hard, and I'm stuck battling Lou. That douchebag! Goddammit! (Funny cuz he's the devil) Anyway, he doesn't miss any freaking battle lines and since he gets the 1st battle sequence, it's hard for me to get mine. And with the Lefty flip attack, gawd! It's horrible! |

Judy Nails used to be one of my favorite characters, and now they made her look like a man...or a goth version of Coutney Love...or both?
I HATE Midori, and don't see why they needed to add a token Asian character. They should have just left Eddie Frickin' Knox!!! I just had an idea....they should make a Guitar Hero movie and get Bruce Campbell to star as Eddie! Holy crap I'd see it like 6 times!
So now, I'm back to playing with my old standard...Johnny Napalm who, may I add, looks awesome in his "Skeleton" outfit. I may star playing with Casey also. She was awful in GH2...but they made her SO much better in this game.
And they should have left Xavier the way he was from GH2 (no offense to Jimi Hendrix...just that they did a really bad job with him, IMHO). He went from being awesome to being the WORST character in the game...well, aside from Midori... |

Dood! Midori is kyoot! So shush! I don't like Johnny in this game. He looks like a freaking ostrich with that long neck and that huge nose. They did a good job with Casey though, I agree. I don't really care about any of the other guys, honestly. When I started playing I was thinking of using Casey, but then I saw Midori and my love for asian hotties took over and I had to use her. Hehehe. 
I don't know why they added a token asian, but it makes me happy! lol Next thing they need to add is the token latin guy. |
