Yea, after seeing it with Ming, I was certain that this was one of the best movies of the year. Not only did it contain a decent amount of action coupled with good story, but it did something that I haven't seen in YEARS:
A good ending.
Why was it a good ending? Well, you can leave a movie thinking two things: A) here comes a sequel, or B) Thats the end. After walking out of the movie, I don't care which happens. They managed to end it with a closed ending, yet it is still, in the deep, dark distance, has a possible opening for an additional movie. What was best about it though? The ending was satisfying. It made me feel like I had finished the movie, and that I was complete with my movie-watching experience for the night - I didn't want to see more, or less.
In my opinion, everything else aside, this makes a movie worth watching.

This movie absolutely blew me away! I went in with very high expectations and they were surpasses... like a lot! Heath Ledger was incredible, he made the role of the Joker truly amazing, gave me the chills on several occasions! My only problem was with Bale's Batman voice, don't get me wrong, I thought he did an outstanding job, however, every now and then it was just a little over the top. Lil' Reaps still hasn't seen it yet, so now I totally have an excuse to go see it again... maybe on the IMAX this time!  Two thumbs and two big toes up!  |

I just saw a couple of days ago and I have 2 things to say:
1) It took everything I had in me to not giggle everytime Bale growled his speech. really.
2) Ledger was amazing... truly. it was so good it made me sad. |
