I have an interesting task set before me and a few of my colleges.
We have a Knowledge Management system in our group called the Smart Q&A database. This database holds a collection of Q&A pairs on a ton of both Wireline and Mobility Products that my company offers. Our Proposal Managers and Account Teams use this information to help answer questions and respond to bids from outside customers.
My boss posed a very good question to us..."What makes this system so smart?, Why do we call it "Smart Q&A"?
Its was named so long ago, that the person is no longer with us and we've forgotten why we call it what we do.
Our task, is to come up with a meaningful definition for "Smart" so that we have a renewed purpose for its name that is something that when you use it, you know why they call it what they do, and sales folks will know as well, thus making this more of a Marketing exercise.
I thought I'd share this task of mine with the PO community and I'm TOTALLY open to ideas. |
