Continuation from the off-topicness of Weapon of Choice. :p
Okay! Two more disciplines: Angel, and Hate.
------------------------------------------------------------
Discipline of Angel
Uses both positive and negative energy to gift the user with various supernatural abilities. General-based.
Very strong against all unholies.
Strong against darkness.
Weak against love and hate.
Very weak against angel and all holies.
1 Control Slightly increases user’s dexterity.
1 Angel Arm A white angel wing-shaped mass of energy appears on the user’s arm and doubles weapon or first range for one attack.
1 Angel Heart A pair of white angel wing-shaped mass of energy appears on the user’s chest and blocks one hit. If the attack is strong, it will slightly reduce received damage. Lasts 3 seconds or until hit.
1 Serenity Increases user’s total MP.
1 Leadership A psychic encouragement message increases nearby teammates’ strength, user not included. Lasts 15 seconds.
2 Demon Arm A white demon wing-shaped mass of energy appears on the user’s arm and slightly increases damage for one hit.
2 Benefic Aura Inspires awe from enemies and moderately lowers their strength. Hate and Insanity users are not affected.
2 Friendship Aura User appears more beautiful than normal. Helps inspire friendship from unknown people.
2 Fighting Dance Increases user’s evasion skills.
2 Angel Flare By raising arm to a vertical position, a harmless white ray is shot towards the sky. Used as signal.
2 Heavenly Shield A white shield appears on either of the user’s arms and has the power of a standard issue shield. Lasts 30 seconds.
2 Angel Saver Same as Angel Heart but used on a teammate.
3 Courage Moderately increases user’s strength.
3 Humility Weakens any adverse effects that hit the user.
3 Angel Ray The next projectile to be shot will be imbued with angel power and increase its damage. If shot towards a teammate, it heals him.
3 Hellfire A medium-range trail of flames erupts from the ground, starting from next to the user, all the way over to the target.
4 Angel Wings The user may grow and un-grow a beautiful pair of angel wings at will.
4 Demon Wings The user may grow and un-grow a pair of demon wings at will. May not be used at the same time as Angel Wings. Demon Wings permit faster flight, but the user is much less stable while in flight.
4 Angel Choir A chosen target will hear an imaginary angel choir.
4 Pacifism The user’s combat clothes become invisible, instead replaced by either everyday clothes or a stereotypical white angel robe. Some powerful combat items, however, cannot be hidden unless the skill is perfectly mastered. Does not work on weapons.
5 Angel Explosion If the user has Angel Wings enabled, the feathers become sharp and are launched at high speed like dumbfire missiles, which disappear after contact, causing moderate damage. It takes 30 seconds to grow the feathers back.
5 Straight Setter Removes any adverse effect on a teammate.
5 Endurance Increases user’s defenses and of any nearby teammates.
5 Holy Mission The team the Angel user is in appears very strong. Weaker enemies will avoid engagement.
5 Shimmer Weakens any adverse effects that hit the user and its team, and increases any benefic effects.
6 Anti Shimmer Weakens any benefic effects that hit the enemy, and increases any adverse effects.
6 Angel Cannon A projectile weapon is imbued with angel power and fires holy rays for 10 seconds, as fast as the weapon will go. If a projectile is loaded, it will be fired too. Cannot be used on bows.
6 Tame Calms down the target, and makes it approachable. Does not always work. Aggressive targets, like carnivorous animals, can give off unpredictable results, sometimes good, sometimes bad.
6 Lullaby Helps the team go to sleep. Sleep effectiveness is increased, and takes less time. The user will fall asleep last.
6 Shine A strong armor protects the user, and a strong white shield forms on both of his arms. Lasts 30 seconds.
7 Super Shine A strong armor protects all nearby teammates, and a strong white shield forms on both of their arms. Lasts 30 seconds.
7 Midair Rest Allows the user to stop beating his wings and hover in midair, unaffected by gravity. Ground speed is immediately reduced to zero, however.
7 Twin Weapons Two laser-like sabers form in each of the user’s arms; one a white angel saber, the other a flaming red demon saber. The angel saber causes strong damage and heals teammates. The demon saber causes strong damage and may fire moderate damage red projection slashes.
7 MILLENNIUM The discipline’s signature skill. The user’s wings take on a horizontal position, and are fired off at high speed. The attack has a long range, severe damage and follows the ground line at a height of four feet. Effects are the same, regardless of wing type. It takes one minute to grow another pair of wings.

Discipline of Hate
Uses negative energy to cause pain and fear. Attribute-based.
Very strong against love, holy, and angel.
Strong against mind and soul.
Weak against all hate and unholy.
Very weak against all insanities, blunt and strength.
1 Respect The basic of hate is learning to contain it. Calms down the user and increases dexterity.
1 Container Slightly reduces received damage. When hit, the user gains a little bit of MP.
1 Sacrifice Sacrifices 10% of total HP for slightly higher damage.
2 Aura Reduces received damage for 10 seconds.
2 Aura Explode When the Aura ceases to exist, the damage that was absorbed is sent over to nearby enemies.
2 Urge Increases swing speed of any non-projectile weapons.
3 War Attitude Slightly increases the user’s strength.
3 Mirror An enemy attack is ricocheted back. If the attack is strong, the hit is simply blocked. If the attack is very strong, the Mirror will reduce received damage.
3 Engagement Rules Calms down nearby teammates and increases their dexterity for 30 seconds.
3 Leech Each hit landed by the user makes him gain a little bit of HP.
3 Bang Weapon The next hit to be landed is assured to be a critical hit
3 Bang Armor The next hit to be received is assured not to be a critical hit.
4 Pain Cut Moderately increases the damage of the next hit to be landed.
4 Time Bomb Gives Aura and Aura explode abilities to one teammate for 10 seconds. Aura Explode activates when the Aura vanishes, or when the affected teammate dies.
4 Mass Urge Increases swing speed of teammates’ non-projectile weapons for 30 seconds.
4 Fear Aura Nearby enemies have all their abilities slightly reduced.
4 Confidence Protects the user from psychological adverse effects, such as fear and confusion.
4 Hate One nearby target has its abilities reduced.
4 Resistance User feels less pain. Flinching and panic from damage is greatly reduced.
5 Projection Hate A swing of the weapon sends a wave of hate towards target, causing moderate damage.
5 Super Sacrifice Sacrifices 20% of total HP for strongly higher damage
5 Mental Leech Each hit landed by the user makes him gain a little bit of MP.
5 Catch-and-Release One hit of any type from a Hate user is ricocheted back with no damage, regardless of the strength of the hit. Lasts only 1 second, so time it well!
5 Ricochet Half of the damage received is ricocheted over to a chosen nearby target. Lasts 15 seconds.
5 Negative Novas Sardine-sized pieces of Hate circle the user and deal light damage to anyone who touches them. Their number increase with skill mastery.
5 Booster User gains HP over time.
5 Superiority The user’s body glows with the signature black and red colors of Hate. The dark effect from those colors repels enemies but attracts other Hate users. Can be turned on and off at will.
6 Soul Ricochet Any damage receives is ricocheted over to a chosen nearby target. Lasts 30 seconds or until the user initiates an attack.
6 Negative Swarm All Negative Novas are sent towards one target, and explode on contact, causing from moderate to severe damage depending on number of novas and skill mastery. It takes 15 seconds for new Negative Novas to appear.
6 Negative Ground By stabbing the ground with any weapon, a Hate tornado is produced around the user. Anyone caught within it is taken by an intense fear and instinctively backs away until out of the twister. Lasts 10 seconds.
6 Mass Hate All nearby teammates have their abilities moderately augmented.
6 Grand Fury Sacrifices defense power for better attack power. Lasts 30 seconds.
6 War Cry Strongly increases swing speed of any non-projectile weapons. Lasts 30 seconds.
7 PAIN CANNON The discipline’s signature skill. User swings a hand forward in softball pitch motion and a medium-range black and red ray four feet in diameter strikes forth at high speed without resistance. Anyone caught within it experiences all the pain felt by humanity since the beginning of the physical universe, compressed over the 5-second period the ray takes to pass through the target’s body. Effects on target are unpredictable but usually are powerful enough to nullify all fighting capabilities for a long period of time. Warning: naturally aggressive targets, like carnivorous animals, may go berserk when hit. |

And on to the more important matter, being that so far you have created three disciplines (Blunt, Angel, Hate) I I'd love to make use of in other matters. I guess you could say this is a formal request of asking that I might use your material in other matters.
Keep them coming! And why not a Discipline of Elemental for Shino and Kettle to have fun with next?

There's a 4th one: Concentra Wind. It's in use by, well, the concept of my own PO.
As for using it; go right ahead, as long as you don't make cash off my ideas. :p

Hehehe! The Disciplines are based off my knowledge of psychic powers and the like. Just that I am taking some liberties into the design (tarot reading really isn't impressive to look at in an RPG...)
Here's an off-the-top-of-my-head list of some examples of Disciplines, exclusing the ones I described already. Some skills are prefixed. Leo (badly spelled Spanish for "far") is large-scale skills, but slow to use and inaccurate. No prefix is general purpose. Circa is anything close to the user, usually within a dozen meters or so. Concentra is the most powerful stuff and the most accurate (recall the Concentra Stab!) but this isn't the best method if you plan on destroying an entire base. Also, Circa and Concentra skills usually originate from the user (instead of, for example, falling down from the sky.)
Love Uses positive energy to strengthen the team, calm down wild enemies, and perform basic healing.
Leo Fire Slow but massive skills to change atmospheric temperature and perform large-scale fire attacks.
Bio Uses bacteria and viruses to weaken enemies.
Blood Uses blood antigens and blood diseases to infect enemies and cause massive pain.
Concentra Weight Allows the user to perform move massive hits at the same speed. A 100 newtons hit could thus be felt like a 500 newtons hit!
Circa Wind Small-scale tornadoes and other massive but centralized wind work to cause various wounds to the enemy.
Christian-Style Holy Biblic symbols and other God-worshipping techniques to heal teammates, curse enemies and put soul-less creatures to rest.
Wiccan-Style Holy Uses witchcraft to heal teammates and hurt enemies. Heals less and attacks more than Christian.
Christian-Style and Wiccan-Style Unholy Self-explanatory.
Summon Calls various creatures and items out of thin air to help in a fight.
Concentra Summon Calls various items out of thin air to be equipped by the user for the fight.
Insanity Uses chaos to confuse enemies.
Circa Insanity Chaos tornadoes and other medium-range techniques to hinder enemy attacks.
Concentra Insanity Chaos energy right from the source to cause massive physical and psychological damage. Enemies hit by Insanity often lose large amounts of MP.
Concentra Machine Cybernetic enhancements grow out of the user to perform an attack... Remember Tima or Akira? Yeah, same thing.

j/k Anyway. Good stuff, Shuri! Sounds like you have a good grasp of the world that you have developed as far as the abilities that can be used by it's inhabitants. Maybe if we can revive the controled RP we can see more of those in action. I guess we'll see.
