The shino awa costume - Pix are large, but worth it!

Well we have a story...

I was getting ready to finish up the costume on Wed at Saleb's place. Wouldn't you know it, the helmet fell and cracked.

Well I went home and began to repair the helmet and while all the glue was drying, I tried to goo off the sabers... and wouldn't you know they came unassembled.

So I pretty much gave up on the costume for the night.

Then Thursday I spent my half day finishing repairs. Got everything back together and then the repainting of the helmet began to crack. Sucks but it still looked good to everyone else. of course I saw it when it was perfect so I was pissed.

Anyway, after getting the costume fully assembled late on Friday, I put it on for the first time. and well... here are some pix.

Hope you like. It looks kinda wierd to me, but anyway, I guess it turned out pretty good. People came by the table and said things like "hey I saw this guy walking around... " so I guess it worked pretty well.
