My lil Comic strip thingie.*UPDATED*

Ok, I'm making a comic called Lock and Barrel,. It's about a boy named Lock with a split personality named Barrel. He/They live in a post world war era and their side lost. Lock is tormented at school, and bottles up his emotions inside, and those eventually manifest into Barrel, an anti-hero of sorts who sticks up for Lock, in the violent, offensive kind of way! Lemme know what you think, I have a few ideas on where I want to take this.

How bout having a ''bad guy'' in that that ends up having a split personality as well, only his other half, is a good one ... it could make it harder to deal with then if he was just pure evil, since the main char could encounter him at points in the story where he'd be good, and other times where he'd be bad, and then the big question he could ask himself is: Will I save him? Will I give a damn? Who is he really? Good or bad? ... ok so that's more then one big question but you get the idea.

Also ... I think it should be in the Fanart, since it really is about a form of art afterall

Nah bad/good guy is over-done..I mean look at Lex Luthor..He's evil but in a good way.

And the problem with Lock and Barrel is that it has the whole "Me, Myself, and Irene" thing goin for it. Which isn't a bad thing.

But I'd like to see Lock get tormented and while he sleeps Barrel comes out and goes JTHM on the kids one by one leaving body parts strewn in wierd shapes...I mean WHO wouldn't laugh at that?

I was thinking that maybe in a later episode Barrel would escape from Lock's mind and just go nuts, heh. There aren't that many split personalities in toons today.
I'm being original.

Ok, 2 different tales.

1- Scientists are after Lock because his immune system is able to kill Tox, which is a chemical that was used to wipe out a whole city in a matter of minutes. Lock is on the run, because they are being a bit...aggressive. IE shooting hm. Anyway, Barrel likes to fight them, and if they corner Lock, Barrel comes out to play.

2- Lock is picked on everywhere, belittled to death, and in his dreams, Barrel helps him cope, rescuing Lock from the distorted world that attacks him within his subconcious. Barrel fights them off, in his own style (IE Violence Incarnate) So Lock must live every day twice, once in reality, and once with Barrel.

I plan on the scientist one being narrated by Barrel and the dream one being narrated by Lock. They will also have 2 different names
Dream=Lock+Barrel: Locked
Scientist=Lock+Barrel: Loaded

So go with the dreams one and make the scientist one an alternate that I'll do later on down the line? I can't wait to get some images up.. hehe.
