2003 Video Game Awards

What a crock! Did anyone else catch this sorry program?? It was one of the lamest shows I've ever seen. I was hoping to see some new games, find out a little more info about whats out there, and get some general information on the gaming industry. Nope...that's not what the VGA is about. Let me give you an example of how this program went.

"Welcome to the 2003 Video Game Awards! I'm Jenna Jamison! The winner for Best Game of the Year is......Madden 2004! Now give it up for (Suck Band #1)!!!"

"Wow! That was great! I'm Jenna Jamison. The winner for Most Addictive Game of 2003 is......Soul Calibur II!!! Lets give it up for (Suck Band #2)!!!"

"Hi....I'm Steve-O. Look at my weiner!!!!! The best fighting game of 2003 is.....Smack Down- Here comes the pain!"

"OH LOOK! CHRIS JERICO AND REY MYSTERIO ARE GONNA HAVE A MATCH RIGHT NOW!!!"

Now...I gotta admit, Rey Mysterio was pretty cool....but other than that, I got NO information from the show. The even had clips from games to be released next year. But that's all they were....clips. No info, no release dates, no system release info, no producer info, no plot info, no gameplay infol. It was horrible. Kinda like watching TRL....but worse. I expected to much from the VGA. BOOOOOO!!!

I was actually gonna watch this but my homey took me out for Pizza so I done forgot.

Well keep in mind the channel it was created for... I f'n hate that channel. Nothin but stereotypical "guy" BS.

On a plus though, FFXI got best online game <' '>b

But what the hell was up with the best game music catagory? IT WAS ALL LICENSED MUSIC <- -;> Do these assholes at SpikeTV know what a COMPOSER is? Probably not.

We should do our own VGAs.....we'll shoot it at ACEN.

Jenna is a tool used by the media to draw in the male demographic. The whole thing was a debacle and a testament that Spike TV is run by a buncha wanna be cool rejects that sit around whatching cars drive around in a circle real fast for 5 hours. Dull.

Anyone who would make a sorry program like that should be shot and have burning candles sticking out of their butts. I would just love to make an awards show just to shove it down their stupid, "O'Doyle Rules" attitude giving throats. Buncha lamos I tell ya.

Call of Duty was the only good nominee almost and that was a given...i didn't see the show but everyone says it sucked...hopefully next year,true gamers will be able to input more into the awards...
