I'm assuming you mean where the electricity spans the gap.
Simple. Put a Djose Sphere in either side of the pedestal and then shove it into the electricity, thereby creating a stepping stone. Voila. |

The thing that the robot shoots absorbs magic cast, White or Black. Bust this accessory up, then let Lu toast the main thing with Thunder Magics as much as possible. |

I didn't bother with destroying the Anti-Magic thing, because that's what makes it fire Mana Beam. Gatling gun doesn't hurt that badly. Tidus should Haste everyone--unless you've given Kimahri Haste too, then he can help--and from there use Auron and Kimahri to hammer it. It helps if you have weapons with Thunderstrike on them.
But if you want to destroy the Anti-Magic field, then have Rikku steal Lunar Curtains from the big baztard. Those cast Shell on you. Keep Yuna handy as well, and use Aeons to absorb the Mana Beam if you can.
Hope that helps and stuff. |

I did all right busting up the thing and taking the mana beam hits. You can still physically attack the big guy and ignore the mana sucker if you want. Especially if Rikku can use Al Bhed Potions. |

That's generally true with boss fights. If you have overdrives, a lot of them become easier. If you have Aeon overdrives, especially the later ones, a lot of boss fights become ridiculously easy. |
