Now I was a big fan of the first game and this one is pretty decent but it has its flaws.

I like that it's SO much easier to get capsules now and the fighting is much more fluid and the cell shading is nice and crisp.

My only problem is the lack of an Arcade mode and that the story mode is now a board bame that doesn't follow the story in the slightest.

It's kind of hard to describe the game really but there's an ass-load of stuff to unlock and the moves are quick and painless. If you played the original Budokai you know that the COOL moves took WAY too long to execute and did little damage for time spent doing them....Now it's like quicker and gets the job done...Sometimes.

But the COOLEST thing you can do in the game is Fusion. You can form Gotenks, Vegetto, Gogeta, and many other never before seen fuses using the Potoras. And it makes the game funner than hell...So yeah...Check out the game..It may not be a buyer for many but it's definetly a good weekend killer.

I overheard the commercial for Budokai 2 in the other room while reheating chinese food from the night before! Boy, am I informed!

(btw: never EVER reheat the rice in those packages with the metal handles...)

i rented it last friday (19) ive beaten the story but was downed that it didn't fallow any part of the show!! grr!! also i only got Gotenks and Vegeta.. how do you get gogeta? and fat Gotenks is funny as hell!!! he gets all tired and stuff after running a few inches..

but yeah i'll agree with Az the moves are friggen sweet! well some...

I'm still workin on that whole unlocking stuff..I now have a black membership which entitles me to buy ANY and ALL capsules but I still haveta unlock characters on my own...*sniffle*

But My Goku can go SSJ3

i have SSJ3 for my Goku as well i also go Super Kamahamaha<however spelled..> but its a shame that i can't have potoras and the super Kamahamaha..

Yeah this game is awesome. I love the new look and how I can shoot a Kamahamaha by just pressing forward and Ki, instead of P, P, P, P and then Ki. Huge improvement!!!! Unfortunately there is no Gogeta in the game just Vegito. The biggest problem I have with the game is that there is NO JUMPING!!!!! How can you have characters that can fly when punched in the air and not jump!!!! IT PISSES ME OFF!!!!! AHHH!!! DBZ

I feel that dashings a huge problem for me. While I'm goin 2 mph tryin to dash Kid Buu is runnin circles around me, beating my ass with punches and Ki blasts. This was all on Easy mode. God I suck at DBZ games. STFU Bulma! I'll give you your zenie! Right in the ass with my SSJ co...ka doodle...doo?
