Ok, I'm REALLY excited about this. I decided to create a fantasy weapon, and since I liked doing it so much, I figured I would do more. So here's the first one, hopefully there will be more to come. It's inspired by Daijaga's PO. I give you, the d20 flail:
Here's a shot of me with it, for reference and comparison of size:
I hope you guys like it. Like I said, hopefully there will be more to come...even though it takes a while to do this. This took me about 3 days to complete.

It's a lot more simple than it looks, however more complicated than what Az mentioned. The d20 (which is 150mm) is made of foam board, which is like two pieces of posterboard sandwiched with styrofoam. I measured and cut out 20 identical triagles, and then built the d20, connecting the parts with masking tape, and tightly packing the inside with newspaper for structure. This was the most tedious part, and once it was assembled, it was completely covered in masking tape for uniformity. Then, I painted it, painted on the numbers, and finally clear-coated the whole thing.
The handle is actually 1" PVC pipe, sanded, painted, then clear-coated as well. The silver caps on the end are PVC caps painted silver, clear-coated, then epoxied in place. The handle is wrapped with suede lace. The chain is just a 1 foot brass decorative chain.
And there is my d20 flail in a nutshell. Anyone have any suggestions for something else I can do?

We shall battle mightly with my own as-yet-un-finished creation! Our plan was to a plushie kind. Same format, only out of 20 equalateral peices of cloth with cotton stuffing, and about a foot+/- in length after construction.
