If there is enough interest, I would consider running a short BESM game module at the con. For those who don't know what BESM is, I'll brief you.
BESM is a table top role playing game based off od the d20 system, a commonly used and tested role playing system. BESM, or Big Eyes Small Mouth, is structured specifically for playing in an anime based game setting, complete with stupid crazy powers, rules for power rangers, pokemon, gun bunnies, biker gangs, samurai, and a myriad of other anime archetypes. This is all managed to be packed into a small book (the BESM anime role-player's handbook) for thirty smackers at your local hobby shop orbook store. Don't wanna pay thirty bucks? Don't have thirty bucks? No big, grab the BESM sitngy gamer's edition in paper back with smaller text and just hte essential reading for a mere ten bucks.
In any case, the system is fun and table top gaming is a unique experience so if there is enough interest in running a BESM game where you wish you play your actual PO character in a short comical fantasy in Miniopia, please post here. Simply tell me that you are interested, any personal thought, questions, and if you are experienced in BESM, d20, or table top gaming in general. |
