I can forgive them for publishing th Nippon-Ichi games in Europe, oh and Gitaroo Man. |

I happen to adore these games. Yeah, they're not much different from each other but...hey, if it isn't broken, don't fix it. ^^ This one's about the Hundred Years' war, btw, with France and England, and you get to play as Joan of Arc and Prince Edward and stuff. V. Cool. <3 |

Don't get me wrong, I'm not faulting them for sticking to their formula, at least they're not screwing things up, and the games sell.
I've got Samurai Warriors 2 on PS2 sat i my drawer waiting to be played but I've just not gotten round to it. Although I've told Charly its based on events from oriental history so she sounds interested in playing it as shes a bit mad fer it when it comes to that. |

I -love- SW2. I actually like Samurai Warriors better than Dynasty Warriors, as the characters seem to just have more personality. ^^ I have a feeling the characters and storylines will be even better with Bladestorm given the Hundred Years War was much more recent and the characters better documented. |

She's playing SW2 and enjoying it, although our copy doesnt have a manual so shes pretty much been guessing stuff as shes gone along but shes really enjoying it!
I've just told her about this one, she loves the story of Joan of Arc so she's looking forward to that one  |

The one with the axe? ^^
I don't know how big of a gamer Chixie is, but I know I'm incredibly choosy about my games...and I'm just not that good at the ones that aren't 'simple. I think that's why I love this series so much. The controls are the same, they're easy to understand, and you get to kill lots of people. xD Great for stress relief and simplicity.
But yes, the blonde french chick is Joan of Arc, I believe. |

She's slowly getting into more and more games. Before it ended to be stuff bought forher younger brother, like Spyro and the Harry Potter games, but since she's met me she's discovered Kingdom Hearts (she loves the 1st doesn't like the 2nd), Jade Empire, PSO, Ace Combat and now Samurai Warriors and she's really wanting to play Okami. |
