Reminds me of the Gamepro and Gamefan incidents also where the writers spelled out secret messages in their work. Cute but this actually makes the artist seem more gay as well as childish.
Now it'll be left to see if Nin has time to change the box art (and fire/fine the artist) before the game officially comes out. |

Well the release date is Nov 12th, I believe, but the paper art is printed well before that. The preorder list is also reportedly up to something like 400k at Gamestop alone here in the States alone so "trivial" things like sleeve inserts are taken care of rather early so as not to interfere with more important matters. You have about 5 weeks, I'd guess, til everything has to be set in stone. That's really not alot of time to coordinate a launch. |

I'm with Gekko, just play the damn game. I will not look at the cover art on the game box for more than a few seconds, if that, every time I go to put the game in my Wii. It could be Box art by VGcats and I would still play the game.

I dont remember anyone saying they didn't want to play it because of this, its just a bit of a joke is all.
And as for "I don't bother looking at the boxart". Well some people do, I love some of the box designs in my collection, such as the NTSC-J/PAL boxart for ICO:
Which also came with artcards like the second Team ICO game did. |

Well, Its not so much that I don't look at the box art as I don't meticulously dissect it. I'm honestly more inclined to think this was an innocent error, I mean the letter spacing is pretty spread out and seemingly random. |
