This movie comes out on the 14th of December, and Sebastian brought it to mine and Diajaga's attention last week. I'm pretty excited about it honestly. I love most of Will Smith's movies and I dont expect this one to be any differnt. The movie is based on a book of the same title written back in 1954.

Not terribly interested, myself. It looks like the stereotypical "Last man alive" movie with nothing interesting other than Will Smith involved. I'll probably catch it for free on HBO sometime or something. |

If it is like the book then it will be very interesting since it is a play on the vampire concept only reversed, but the protagonist in this version isn't killing vampires left and right every morning so I don't know. |

Its already had 2 movies based on the book. From what I have read this one is going to follow more along the lines of "Omega Man" which was the most recent of the 2. The star was none other than Charleston Heston. |

I'm typically a fan of anything Will Smith does that falls out of what everyone expects him to do. When he did Ali, I was blown away at his capability. Bagger Vance, stunning. Men In Black... er... well, we all can't have a stunning acting career lol.
But I, too, am a fan of his more esoteric roles. |

I read the opposite, supposedly omega man was so far from the book the original writer of I am legend didn't want his name on it.
This is supposed to be more like the book, just in present day.
The book was good, so this should be too if made right |

Have you seen Pursuit of Happyness?
If not... you definitely should!
The movie is phenomenal and has some really deep father/son moments. |

Yeah, when Faye showed me the trailer for this I was much the excited. Not only am I a big fan of Will Smith, but I love post apocalyptic settings and zombie movies. The premise of this movie may not place Will in a world populated by mindless undead, but its pretty damn close. |

I hope you are right, from what I have read about the book, and the story of Omega man, the book sounds much more entertaining. After we watch the movie I might just go pick up the books for something to read. |
