Man oh man oh man! (oh transvestite!)
Shino, Legend, GAAZ, Chibi Knight, Rollergirl, Osiris, and I went to see Eddie Izzard last night and I laughed so hard! It's was absolutely incredible to see him live as I had become quite a fan of his after Gaaz pointed me in his direction.

Oh he was in jeans, snappy shoes and a old military jacket - the kind with tails.
Robb - I think what I llike most about him is he's got some smarts to what he talks about. It's not about "how much woman like to shop" or what his sex life is like. It's more of a cerebral comedy (Lewis Black another great cerebredian - ha MADE UP WORD!)
US stand up comedy just seems to be flooded with how crude you can be - whereas Eddie's pokes fun at history, religion, technology, science and ourselves. |

Don't get me wrong, I find him amusing at times, just not enough to warrant going to see him live, but then again, I'm very picky with my comedians, only one I could ever envision going to see is Bill Bailey
I will agree that he is a very smart guy about the way he does his comedy, and I loved him in Mystery Men |

I especially loved his Triceratops bit.
