To say that I'm PSYCHED about this -> AvP would be something of an understatement. I just hope that they dont put too much of a human element into it.

hmmm... I cant wait to see it, but I think the storyline sounds kinda cheezy. It shouldn't have taken place on earth... It should have taken place on the Alien Home planet. The Preds go there to hunt just like they go to earth to hunt.

yeah i know what you mean, it doesnt make sense that there are thousands of aliens on earth durring the time of the aztechs, and there are none now

I think the plot should have followed the old arcade game. Where the aliens came to Earth and were wiping us out and the Predators saw and said, "Holy crap man..If the black things kill all the squichy things we won't have nothing to hunt."

(Note Killing one human was WAY harder than killing 1000 Aliens...Cause we tend to dodge the plasma shots and actually use camoflage instead of numbers)

So the Predators basically fight the Aliens for the right to hunt the humans...Woot!

But the premise is weak. I mean the predators could've went to LV-426 where the space ship landed (Since it possibly wasn't destroyed in Aliens) or somewhere else, but earth? That's kinda stretching it. But hell it can't be too bad. And it comes out on my birthday!

how do you figure humans are harder to hunt than an alien?
but then again as i back track like i always do, they would probably have found out that mud thing arnald did plus people of olden times were much better at nature stuff than we are today. . . . . .but i still find it hard to think of use bein more difficult than a alien. . . .then again if we had the preds tech we could probaly whoop on the aliens to. . . . .but then again if we had thier tech. . . .Ill stop now Google Eyes

Well... My basis is on the fact that Sygorney Weaver took out an entire hive including a Queen with some difficulty but still made it out.

Ahnuld and Danny Glover went toe to toe with ONE predator and both barely made it out alive and in both instances killed, or helped kill, themselves a predator.

Plus all aliens can do is run fast, bleed good, and listen to their queen.

Humans don't have a central thingy tellin em what to do and we shoot gooder..Aliens are just really big ants when ya think about it.

Well I just saw the trailer, and I can just say wow. Reminds me of the Alien3 trailer where they said "On earth, everyone can hear you scream" I'm interested but skeptical.

That trailer is nothing more than just a really big teaser...and lets face it, I don't liked to be teased at times. I read a treatment of the original script and thought that one was great (which also had the Pre-Alien/Predalien/Alien Predator/whatever the real term for a alien that is born out of a predator), but I doubt they would go that script...cause...you know...it was interesting. Interesting doesn't really sell all that much.

Just seems to be building off on its own direction to that similar to Freddy vs. Jason...and straying from the comics and original treatment I read. Here is hoping that the Pre-Alien/Predalien and Tusk (the Predator leader in the treatment) will still be in it...cause they were bad ass.
