Dood..It'll be kickin..Sony is this like Megolith in Japanese technologies and Microsoft is a pissant company that STILL uses DOS in their Non-DOS programs.
So made no sense and was completely off topic..I must be high or something. |

And Nintendo and Sega are the drunk uncles begging for another dollar when you know that they're going to just piss it away on booze. You know they mean well but they always show up smelling of beer and pretzles with their girlfriend Yoko, who isn't bad but I sometimes wonder about her "Art".

Yer right there Kid..Cept for that scary kiss at the end...It scares me so. *scared*
Nintendo is trying this Dual Screen thing that in my head sounds good but on paper it seems suckage is imminent.
Sega completely dropped out of systems and is now releasing games I don't want to play. Sure Sonic Heroes looks fun but after Sonic Adventure Battle 2 I've sort of lost my love for Sonic games (GO BACK TO 2D YA F**K-HEADS) Except the bitchin Sonic Collection I Have for Gamecube.
I think Nintendo, Sony, and Sega shoul melt together and Kill Microsoft with some Devine wind. After the Jaguar it was proven that Americans can no longer make video games... We should stick to building cas too big to drive and too pollutant to be safe for ANYONE...It's the American way. |

Sonic Adventure 2 (Sonic on DC) was complete crap even though I bought two copies.

It's just like, I hate hate hate 3D platformers. Me playing Conker's Bad Fur Day lately has made me want to scream at all the falling and splatting and screaming and stuff.

the PSP if it isn't a PS1 portable port-box, will CRUSH the GBA. Especially if the DS takes away any of the GBA's thunder. I mean they could go anywhere with this PSP. How do movies you can carry in your pocket sound? And what if people get mini DVD burners for it? Hell you might be able to emulate a GBA on the PSP. Which would be scary.
Sega is slipping and has been for a while. me->  <-Sega
NO MORE 3D SONIC GAMES
Nintendo has been falling off since the N64 Days me-> <-Nintendo
NO MORE 128 Bit Rehashes of old games.
Microsoft is Microsoft. I don't own an XBox nor plan to. It just doesn't interest me at this time.
And Sony is the behemoth that will destroy us all. The thing people don't realize is that Sony saves A LOT of money by using their own parts in their systems. Nintendo sub-contracts out to IBM/ATi for it's processor/video card. (Although the next console will have nVidia) Microsoft pays Intel for a Celeron for XBox, and has an nVidia video card as well. What about Sony? It's all Sony made and sony bred, so they don't lose all that much money on PS2's. Not as much as Nintendo and MS do on their respective consoles.
There's only been one other company that did all their R&D in house and that was NEC, and they're dead now.

Wasn't the 3DO Panasonic? I coulda sworn that was a Jap company..Or some backwards Canadian one.
Yeah and did you forget that PSP will cost Under $200 AND have GPS?! Dood, I'd buy it just for the damn GPS I love playin with those things.
Not to mention when X-box was first released Microsoft was losing about $10 for eah one sold and could only recoupe its losses if you bought a bunch of games. Or their POS DVD converter dealy.
My feelings on game systems OR computers playin DVD's...I HAVE a DVD player and a 27 inch TV..Get da HELL away from my game system! I hate using my computer or PS2 to play DVD's....I just feel so unclean afterwards. |

The way 3D0 worked was the 3D0 company set specific specs for the machine and anyone could make it. There's a ton of versions of the hardware (There was even a Cox Communications one but it was scrapped)

I agree there. PSP with a GPS, and I'd still be lost. If GPS is what I'm thinking it is.

THough I think the GBA will fare better than you guys are giving it credit for. I mean after all, look at it's HUGE library of games, and compare it to PSP's opening. THose are some mighty big shoes to fill. As much as I love Sony, I gotta say, this could be another Dreamcast incident, which would prove yet again that it is the games, not the hardware, that make or break a console.
