Basically I'm having an issue b/c the pad that comes with DDR sucks.
At least it does for carpeted floors.
Most of the time, when I'm standing in the center, it thinks I'm on the up arrow. It drives me insane. There are even times when I step off the pad and it still has a button pressed.
Any suggestions on good pads for DDR? |

I got a decent pad by Red Octane for $115(the Ignition Pad 2.0)
They also sell a metal pad but it runs around $200
Cobalt Flux sells the best pads....they cost close to $300 a piece but are damn worth it.

That's right, I've got one. Havn't regretted buying it, it's quite the investment, but it really does kick ass.
Sadly, my cat likes to expose of urine in .. interesting areas of the house, NOT the litter box. I mean, com'on.. It's a litter-box, I wouldn't want to either.
Anyway, long story short, I'm cleaning up my Cobaltflux, praying it will work once more. |

I have a pretty good arcade- esque metal pad from Ebay. I think it ran around $170, and its better than any other non arcade pad I've used.
I am so having a PO meet at my place, with much DDR action ^^ |

I got my ignition pad for just under $100. It's pretty good. It does slid a bit on the carpet, but only on heavy mode. Eventually I'll build some kind of a stabilizer for it....just a weighted box or something. I'll need another pad though. I haven't done doubles in so long... |

Freakin Pansy! I coulda built REAL METAL pads for less than that...Yeesh.
Remember..I'm a Jerk of all trades. I can cook, construct, destruct, rebuild, tune, massage, and hump anything with or without a pulse. I'm 2 steps away from perfecting my "Remove Shino's Kidney while he sleeps" technique. |
