Well... I went out and bought The Ring dvd. Man, oh man... it scared the crap outta me. OMG it was awesomely good. I recomend this movie to all of ya...if you like scary movies of course. Anyway, rent it, buy it, see it !!!Its great !!! |

i saw it when it was playing in the movies. It was so scary, that i actually could not sleep that night. I was afraid that the TV in my Mom's room would turn on by itself...so to make a long story short, i didnt get a wink of sleep that night 
Its not so much the aspect that its scary though, its the fact that, well, it catches you off gaurd...ALOT. And besides that, when you think the movie is going to end, it keeps on going, to reveal an even more twisted plot |

Supposely The Ring was inspired by a Japanesse movie called Ringu. In my opinnion its just a remake. Though I wanna see it now !!! Looks awesome, plus my thing for asian girls, hehhe !!! ITS A MUST !! Though I didnt know there was a Ring 2 and 3. |

remake!? The ring, ring 2 and ring 3 came out years ago I saw the japanese version last year and it scared the crap out of me, it's much more psychological than the hollywood version. The hollywood version is a direct remake! Not inspired at all It uses the exact storyline but changes the names of the characters a little (e.g. sadako in the japanese version is samora in the US version). Okay I'm being a little judgemental by saying the japanese version is better since I haven't seen the hollywood version, it just looked a little overdone (the japanese films are very psychological), but I'll probably see it anyway and love it. But anyone who's seen only the US version should DEFINITELY check out the original trilogy! There's a DVD box set out. Trust me - they own. |
