These damn bobble head things are getting on my nerves. They're making bobble head EVERYTHING now. The Yankess have like 20 different bobble head nights when they give away bobble heads of players. It's such a fad, and a stupid one at that. Honestly...what the hell? |

Yeah...speaking of action figures...what the hell happened to them? I remember when you could go to the good old toy store and pick one up for like $5-6 dollars. And they were cool too! Sometimes when I need a pick me up, I decide to head to Toys R Us with the intention of buying a cool toy, just because. But action figures have gotten so expensive, and they all really suck. The coolest ones, in my opinion, are anything by McFarlane, but they're so damn expensive unless they're on sale or something. Toys in general, also, are pretty bad. Kids nowadays are so deprived... |

For real! Those old school action figures were cool! Sure, they didn't shoot little plastic things, or light up, or have computerized voices, but they were the best EVAR! In fact, I'd argue that that's what MADE them great! They didn't need to be flashy, they were just functional. You had to use your imagination, and that brought them to life more vividly than any computerized voice chip!

The closest thing that comes to old school action figures are the Star Wars action figures on the market today. But they're just so expensive...I can't see paying anything over $5 for one. |
