Well March Madness is at an end and Arena Football is about to be wrapped up and here in Hotlanta our "pro" basketball team stinks so bad they are doing 2 for 1 deals on the tickets.... I am not making up. I mean Kevin Willis is on the team. Kevin Willis. Insert apporite he's so old joke. Anyways so with all other sports coming to an end Baseball is our only choice left. Which isn't too bad with the Braves (At least not until October). Anyways the Braves are off to an ok start (5-4). The games they have lost or at least the 3 I have seen we were doing fine until (dramtic pause) our bullpin came into play. Everytime our starters had great games (includeing a 15 K day from John Smoltz) and then our bullpin came in a blew it. So am I overreacting or do the Braves have a serious problem on their hands here? I know they say it is too early to panic but it doesn't take a genius to see a pattern here. So what do you think?

Personally I'm sick of the braves...

every season since 91 they have been to the play offs!

HOW MANY CHAMPIONSHIPS DO THEY HAVE... ONE!

I want them to do badly this year. I want the Mets to win the division!

As far as Arena Football goes, it's not really wrapping up.
There are 3 home games left, 5 games total for the Force. Then the playoffs which hopefully the Force (8-3) will be in.

w00t!

The Mets? The Mets? The we change our entire team every year and have nothing to show for it Mets? The we dump tons of money like our brother team the Yanks but unlike them we still are only mediocre Mets? That Mets! Yes I think that is the perfect name for them the mediocre Mets. Sure the Braves have trouble in Oct but unlike the Mets we don’t have them all year long. Yes the Braves have been to the playoffs every year since 91 how many for the Mets? Zero. How many Division championships? Well since there have been zero playoffs the answer is zero because we have had most of them. So World Champs? I’ll give you a hint we still have one more than you guys. So sure while it is easy to point to the Braves inaptitude in the playoffs. It is even easier to point out the Mets middle of the road performance. So jump off the Braves bandwagon more room for me. The Braves will win this year or at least I’ll make this bet with you they will win the World Series long before the stumbling Mets will. I was with the Braves when they were like the Hawks ....those were cold days. So while we don’t win it every year ok so we haven’t won the big one in 9 years but at least we are at the big dance unlike some other teams I know of. Well we shall see who is right in Oct. Watch it will be neither of us and somebody else will win it. The Cubs are my dark horse. Even though they break my heart every year I still love the Cubs.....Go Braves! Go Cubs!

Chicks dig the long ball,

P.S. The Force rule. I have been to two games so far this year. I really hope they win it all this year. You can do it!

Demon angel

Yo, Kurj. Obviously you forget to 2000 subway series.

Further on I would like to point out that the Mets are the AMAZIN' METS! and have been ever since 1969. Why? Because of how far they came from having the worst record in baseball ever (as chronicled in the hilarious book Can Anybody Here Play this Game?) to being world champions.

I am the first one to admit when I make a mistake and it is true I did forget about the subway series of 2000. Embarassed My bad I hope you forgive me as I am not perfect....not yet anyways (Still got to find 17 and 1Cool. And yes the Mets have come a long way. But also remmeber how far the Braves have come? Dare I remind you of the worst to first season of 91? So maybe the Braves have more in common with the Mets (Besides Tom Glavine) than at first thought. It is going to be an intresting year that much is for sure. And yes the cards are going to be in the mix as well, Reaper. Oh and Rev. I'll have to pick up that book. Wow this is fun but still nobody has answered my question....oh well. Let's get ready to play some Baseball.

I'm not saying I don't like the Braves, just that I'm getting sick of them winning the division then getting their asses handed to them in the playoffs.

I will still root for them, but I would rather seen the Mets win. I am from NY afterall, so they have ALWAYS been my team. And for your info... I started checking out the braves when I moved to GA... 1988... while they were losing. Damn I'm old! Of course that was only 2 years after the Mets winning it all in 1986!

Believe it or not I know where you are coming from. I too am frustrated by this. It just doesn’t makes since. You want to talk about curses in bean town, what about a curse in peach town? Help Well cheer for your home team I can respect that because that is how I roll. You have to stay loyal to your home team. I can at least respect the Mets. Now if you were a yanks fan well then that wouldn’t be cool. As I said before even cooler than the Braves winning it all would be for the cubbies to win. The poor people of Chicago haven’t had much to cheer for since Mike left but the bulls are going to make the playoffs this year. That is more than the basement dwellers known as the Atlanta Hawks can say. So to see them win would be remarkable cool. It would also end the longest streak without a World Series Championship and pass it on to I am not sure who would be next? So we shall see come playoffs time if it is same old same old or maybe we both will be happy at the end of the season. Of course by this point only a World Series Championship will do so…….

Never knew your were a Yankee,

Yes she did, right into my lap the moment she heard the word 'Cubs'...

I don't think the Braves have a problem, yet, every year for the past few years they have always started off bad, usually around the Middle of May they start getting better, it just takes them some time to start roling. That said, I'm beginning to get a little worried when the Washington Nationals beat them 11-6, that was just not pretty....

Shino I can accept that you're a Mets fan, but acceptence doesn't mean I have to like it XDDD It's just another thing we'll have to agree to disagree with in the wide world of sports.
