well, that recent topic about most hated foods really got me thinking about all the bizarre foods that i have acquired a taste for over my 21 years of existence. so tell me kids, what are some of the weirdest foods (and i mean weird/creepy/stuff that most other people hate) that you can't get enough of?
i'll go first:
1. prunes
2. lima beans
3. beets marinated in vinegar
4. meatloaf
5. artichokes
mmmm...*runs to grab her bag of prunes out of the fridge*...no seriously, i have a bag in there!
edit: i also have a sad obsession with barbecue sauce and salsa!

Prunes are not bad. Mmm! Meatloaf! OH! And artichokes! Dip them in butter... *Drool* Stop, I'm already hungry!
Well, I love sashimi. Mmm, raw fish. That might not be as uncommon on this board because people here might be more inclined to at least try "weird" Japanese food, but most people in America think I am nuts.
I love most veggies, though I must admit I'be never been fond of lima beans, and beets and I just flat out don't get along. But broccoli, spinach (fresh, not cooked), green beans, peas, all those good yummies.
Hmm, what else...
I really like water, if that counts. I drink almost entirely water, and even water that most people think is bad I can usually stand because I am so used to water.
Oh yeah! Dandelion greens! They are excellent in salads, and I can share them with my rabbits.
Of course, when I was a kid, I had the interesting idea of making a peanut butter and pickle relish sandwich. I cant remember, but apparently I liked it. |
