I'm have started this forum to let the PO world know that Selrahc lives.
Hello every body. I haven't been on PO up until not this summer.
I just had my 6th open heart surgery last wensday ( the 9th) I was released from the hosptial that Sat. My recovery is going amazingly well and I am felling great right now. I am still now where near as active as I used to be but the will change over the next few months.
Hope every body has been doing ok out there in PO land.
I will be on again after dinner tonight to post some more and start catching up on things here in the PO world.

Back in my day, we didn't have recovery. You just had the surgery, then it was back to the feilds and that was that.

Right on! Glad you made it! Please don't be angry, but I'm curious as to the specifics. In the so-called REAL World, I'm a Cardiac nurse and deal with a lot of post-op day 1 open hearts (CABGs, Valve replacement/repair, etc.).
To have gone through SIX  and do well, you have been truly touched by a higher power. I wish you speedy recovery and hope you do well in cardiac rehab!  |
