Yeah, I was a little disappointed with the suit also. I don't like how they always try to modernize everything now when they make movies. I would have been perfectly content with the old school Green Goblin. |

You know who should play Hob-Goblin? Mark Freakin Hammil 
Sand Man I can deal with. He's a nice bad guy to fool around with. Rhino is also a good villian, but He's a little bit of a newer guy to my knowledge anyway. I actually want to see Kraven. He's about as old school as they come and he'd make an awesome bad guy. |

January 24, 2006 - According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Theresa Russell has joined the ensemble cast of Columbia's Spider-Man 3. THR says Russell will portray "Mrs. Marko, the wife of Flint Marko, aka the Sandman (Thomas Haden Church). Plot details from Alvin Sargent's screenplay are scarce, though it is known that the villainous couple has a daughter."
Spider-Man 3 begins filming this month. In addition to Russell and Church, the cast includes Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Bryce Dallas Howard and Topher Grace.
Russell is best known for her femme fatale turn in Black Widow. Her other credits include Kafka, Wild Things, Whore and HBO's Empire Falls. |
Looks like they're sticking with the Venom/Sandman idea. |

ZOMG! I love Thomas Hayden Church!
SWEET!
He always plays moron characters and does it so freaking well even though he isn't a moron. Great choice for Sandman that I didn't even think of.
I'm still psyched about Topher Grace playing Venom. He's a great actor and Brock was kinda a wuss before the suit anyway. |

He was! Alot of people forget that Eddie Brock was a skinny whuss until all that crap happened to him and he lost his job and his wife and his life went down the gutter. He started working out and became a junkie and that's how he got all muscle freak. |

I am so pumped about the Sandman. The speical effects they could pull with him now a days but yeah what happened to Harry and the Green Goblin plotline. I don't care what you guys say I loved the Green Goblin suit. Anyways this moive looks freaking sweet. |

It was also revealed that Gwen Stacy will be in the next movie. That re-affirms my prediction that Mary Jane dies in the next movie. |

I had heard a while ago that Topher would be playing Venom, what with his resemblance to Toby. Of course I have little to no knowledge of the Spider Man universe. |
