too true my friends.
my old roomte told me once that..
"all is fair in love and war, but sometimes love is war"
and yes in a way I d oregret breaking up with A but staying together would have torn us apart a the seams if we trying to keep up with each other when just living life at that point and getting things done was too much already. |

sorta do Rizz. I just can't bear to crush B she has done nothng wrong and I would hate to hurt her. Oh if only this were happening at any other time in the year instead of now with all the holidays and the plans and the gifts. |

If your thinking long term, you need to plan long term. If girl "b" has plans to go to MIT or University of California after highschool and thats not in yoru game plan, you need to see if you want to commit to moving here or there with her. Same for girl "A". I can't imagine what its like being in that position, but your #1, so figure out what it is you want to do, then figure things out from there. |

Wowie that is a toughie. You said that you and A broke up because you moved away for school and now you've had to move back in with your parents? Well what will happen then if you move away again? Then you and A would be in the same position as before and B would have been hurt for nothing. I agree with what they said about taking some days for yourself and thinking things through. well tsuki I moved out after school and yes now I am back. But then should couldn't leave school and come with me even though she wanted too. I told her to stay in school and not make the same mistakes in life that I did. But soon she will be out of school and free to go where she wants.
And Dai I have been thinking a lot about wether or not to follow either of them and the truth is that they are each going about the same distance off to colledge only one is going west and one north. But A is going west to a colledge that I could acually make it into.
Thank you all for your caring advice and while I take these few days off for myself i will think very hard about all that you people my friends have brought to my attention. |

Well I am and that is what is makng this all so very complicated. I know that I am engeaged but there is no date set and I know that if I dont settle this dilema in my heart now I will not be able to go on with the relationship that I am in. Like I said B has done nothing wrong and in fact has been great to me, but I dont want to spend the rest of my life with somebody if my heart isn't in it. |

Well, from this, I would say B is the way. You have mentioned before you love both equally, but you made the promise to B to marry her. It'll be an ultimate slap in the face to throw it all away on something you wouldn't be certain would work out. Honestly, if it were happening to me, I wouldn't take it lightly. A man should propose to a woman only when he is without a doubt certain that she will hold his heart. No room for doubt there.
If this type of situation turns that promise inside out, then maybe relationships as a whole should be avoided until you can stand behind the promise, no matter the circumstance. It'll only prepare you for your vows later in marriage. |
