I'll just want for the Revolution for not only will it have NES but also Super nintendo and N 64. It will end up being cheaper and be better all around at least that is how I see it. |

There will likely be some oldies that just won't make it to that format though, and that's why one would want one of these. Lots of the old NES titles were the intellectual properties of companies that no longer exist. |
Very good point. Although I'm still gonna wait and see what's available through the revolution; if there are games that I want that aren't available, then I'll be getting the NEX =)

DAMN. That's a good price.

That's true as well. But like GD said, there are a lot of third party games that won't be available through the Revolution. So I guess it really depends on whether or not one of your favorite oldies is a third-party game ^^ |

Yes, I actually believe it's on one of the Megaman Compilation games released. Don't quote me on that though :O |

It sounds like it'd be cool if you wanted to relive the original experience personally I'd wait for the Revolution like everyone else is saying but at the same time I'd like to have this cause it reminds me of how happy I was when I got the first NES. |

Invested 15 bucks in a mock dual ps2 controller from Logitech and about 10 minutes downloading a zip on Bearshare that boasted every NES game ever made. Im sorry, but theres a statue of limitations on me paying for video games and it starts at about 15 years ago. The people that made these games arent making a dime, the only person getting a buck here is nintendo and/or this messaih company, and while Im sure they deserve it, Im not buying a NES when my Tandy's hardware is just as qualified to run 8bit graphics. |

I didn't really see it as a money making scheme.
More like a Vintage/Retro thing. |

Toploading is reserved for Famicom games on that. it'd be wierd to have two top loading ports.
Ultrawolf wrote: | Personally I won't buy one but for those die hard collectors out there it's probably worth the investment. |
Die hard collectors would only settle for the real thing. |

Just something about that raw cartridge feel that beats out emulation anyday.
Damn straight. I pick up titles for the NES in second hand shops, even though mine doesn't work at the moment. I'll find replacement cables eventually... or find the money for one of these.

I don't remember those.
Was the one that loaded in the front, and you pushed down on the cart' to make the connection the first gens then ? |
