The acid is used in the creation of Amphetamines. I'm going to go with the idea that there's a meth lab in that neighborhood and the dog stumbled into it and knocked over the acid. |

I bet you're right. I'm still so sad for the puppy and so furious at whoever did that!! They need to be strung up and quartered. Then maybe have a lil acid dumped on them. I can't believe they were so stupid as to burn their own evidence. >_<; bah..... |

Small nitpick - Methamphetamine (C10H15N) and Amphetamine (C9H13N) are different. Most notably that it's meth that people make in street labs. Amphetamine's easy to get - just have friends with ADHD. The pharmaceutical meth Desoxyn is extremely rare due to the stigma surrounding methamphetamine.
Pedantic rant aside, I hope they find this guy and let a dog pour acid on him. |

According to In Nomine, that would be a Shedite. At least, I hope they're getting possessed. To think of a human willfully doing something that cruel without infernal hands at their throat just makes me want to put *my* hands on their throat... |

I agree that the dog probably got meth-acid dumped on her by accident, but that doesn't make it any better. In reality, not only did the authorities miss out on a chance to catch animal abusers but also a chance to take a drug lab out of buisness and get that meth off the streets. Whomever ordered the cremation of the "evidence" should be fired. Or at least severely reprimanded. Their incompetence will most likely cost the lives of countless junkies who can now gain access to meth with ease and possibly more unlucky animals who will inevitably stumble into their operation. |

A little off topic, but I'm just so darn mad! I heard from a friend that this girl bought a ferret because it was sick, and going to be put down. She thought that she could make it healthy, apparently. When it got worse, there were no animal hospitals open (except for emergency clinics which she forgot to think of), and deicded to euthanize the poor creature by placing the ferret in her freezer. Ugh...people just drive me nuts.
I don't know much about law...but people charged with animal cruelty should be treated as the law would treat a murderer. At least, that's how I feel. |
