This will have the non remastered versions, which I beg to see. I was too young, and don't have a VHS player anymore to watch the remastered version.

I've heard he's doing this because of the amount of fans buying the Chinese Laserdisc illegal copy...
And, when I heard about it, I nearly died of joy... |

Ok, call me crazy, ostrocize me, whatever, but exactly HOW important is it that Han shot first?¿? I love Star Wars just as much as the next guy, but even the freaking Bible has been translated incorrectly throughout the ages, and that's a BELIEF system, and no one has cried about it yet. This is just another excuse to whore out the franchise. Hey George, why not take your billions of dolalrs and make something new?

I guess it all comes down to "if it ain't broke...don't fix it". No matter what he does, people will always buy into the Star Wars franchise. As far as he's concerned, he doesn't have to go out of his way to make any money.

I, personally, don't think it was SUCH a big deal. But what did bother me is the overwhelming crappiness of the effect that they used to make Greedo look like he shot first. It was just very poorly done. Kind of like when Han walks behind Jabba. I get what they were trying to do, but they did a very bad job at it. You'd think we'd be able to fix that sorta thing with all the technology we use today. |

But he's a storyteller. I mean, he did Indiana Jones after Star Wars, so why not write something and tell a new story?
