Wild Spiderman 3 rumor

I had actually heard Lizard rumors as far back as Spiderman 2's release, so it wouldn't be too far fetched. However I'd be too worried about pulling an Xmen with too many characters and not enough development. They've already got Venom and Sandman. I'm SURE there's going to be some kind of Green Goblin angle. As much as I would like Conners to become the Lizard, too many origins not enough movie time.

I don't believe Venom himself will really be in the movie except maybe at the end. I don't expect him to actually do anything.

As long as i get to see venom i'll be happy, and i saw a clip of the lizard man awhile back. I swear i saw it, he was in a White doctor coat and running down in the sewers over those metal walkways and it was showing beneath him and then it showed him

I think it was like one of those little insider shows but im sure i saw him.

The cast of Spider-man 3, maybe the green goblin will be instead of lizard man, and with all the Lab Technician's i think venom will play a large role in the movie.

Thomas Haden Church has confirmed that the character Venom does appear in the film, although no mention of Topher Grace playing that character was stated.

So he will be in it

On a radio interview today on Opie and Anthony, Thomas Haden Church confirmed that Venom will be in the film, and that he expected him to appear pretty much like the comic book version

Former Marvel Studios CEO Avi Arad may have let a big one out of the bag when talking to IFMagazine.com. He says there are four villains in Spider-Man 3!

iF: There are four villains this time, Venom, Sandman, and Green Goblin and when is the fourth going to be revealed?

ARAD: Right we have four villains. Pretty soon [we'll reveal the fourth villain] I believe. Maybe around Comic Con we'll reveal something and the madness will begin.

The third installment hits theaters on May 4, 2007

Fourth? Hmmm I'd have to say Carnage would be the front runner but that is just my thinking.

Hrem.... as mentioned before, the forth maybe lizardman (I hope so : D) - having Carnage and all that story line would be too much x__x

I am suspecting they'd have Venom at the very end (the symbiote joining with Brock) as a plot hook. The main storyline, I suspect, would be Spidey feeling blah and not confident of his abilities (fighting crime and protecting Mary Jane), finding the symbiot and becoming the black-suited Spiderman. He's then be fightin Sandman / Green Goblin and stuff throughout the film.

Lizard man.... a side baddy, after all the character that is the Lizard man is Peter Parker's friend, and the Lizard man only occures because the dood is trying to find a way to regrow limbs / improve human healing factor.
