OK so here's what ended up happening.
WotC ended up sending Super Games over $130 worth of stuff for this tourney.
So what Jim did, is basically pay for the product, donate $50 directly to the ACS, and spread out the other $80 as prize.
1st - $40
2nd - $20
3rd - $10
4th - $10
Plus, everyone that played got a pack. So that was cool!
We ended up having 16 people there. With that, plus what Andsectoid sent us, and what Jim threw in, we ended up raising $250!
Which is awesome. WotC seemed quite on board with this so Jim is now saying "let's do one every other Month." So I'm going to get back with them and try to schedule for November!
Thanks to everyone that came, and those that couldn't... looks like you will get another chance soon! |
