Oblivion is a great game, and I'm sure its still a great game on Xbox, I just dont see how you can get as much good out of the game on Xbox as you can on PC. Just open you map and look at all the empty space that is begging for modders to fill. You're not going to get nearly as much if any of that content on Xbox as you will on PC. |

I've never played one.
But I saw Osiris playing it and it looked pretty good, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
And you can always download updates on 360 as well. Not sure how that works yet, but we'll see. |

Wizard's Tower and Dunbarrow Cove are great additions to the downloadable content. Probably won't get much use to them until later in the game (they are expensive to upkeep, but worth it for the ability for weapon enchantments and for the nice weekly 2,000 gold a week). |

Well, to be fair I never finished the game. But I have logged 100 hours into the game.
I am more than halfway through most of the factions (except the Arena...that I finished quickly) and done the mentioned downloads (having a set of Glass Armor that gives you 100% Chameleon that you can enchant in the tower is a great help for those tougher Theives Guild and Dark Brotherhood quests...plus you can pretty much just steal and pickpocket whatever you want at that point).
I know the dungeon download is supposed to be a great addition as well, but I have not gotten around to it. I will soon though as my goal is to have all the achievements in the game eventually. |

Yeah Gears of War is one that I will buy eventually.
Rune... do you need Live Gold to download updates to games from the marketplace? Or can you do it with Silver. I haven't started Gold yet since I don't have any games to play online... Well... RR, but does anyone play that online.  |

You need Silver to access the marketplace and game downloads. Gold just gives you some exclusive content and access to certain online betas and videos as well as the ability to play most games online (Online games like PSU and FFXI do not require Gold as you have to pay for them to play online)...but nothing really that special right now.
Either way, you still have to pay for them with the points...but Oblivion downloads I mentioned are worth the few bucks that they are. |
