In a way, I feel better that I'm not the only one, but worse that this is happening to other people too. xD
My family actually had a car incident yesterday wherein my sister had a blowout despite all her tires being fairly new, and kept driving so she has to get the rims replaced as well as the tire...and she bumped a mailbox, but apparently that didn't hurt it too much.
My mom's transmission needs to be replaced and that's another $2000 (what is it with our cars and transmissions this year?) ...but we're actually probably going to just get her a new car, because that van is a POS anyhow and we've been having to repair it fairly regularly since she bought the bloody thing.
Edit:
Oh, Dai, I would, but unfortunately I have to use the laptop for school..which means I need the internet for research papers, as researching on one computer and typing up the paper on another gets pretty ridiculous. |

Update: On the way home from school, the car I'm borrowing suddenly became short one working sparkplug... I need to hide from all internal combustion for a little bit.  |

in my defense those are lighted fans and i did not know the power supply, all 600 watts, has a blue light in it. i have a tendency to touch a HD and it fragments...physically. the ability to fix computer probs on the fly, take a shower, and take care of the pets while not missing a single IM is part of how i got the title DLOE (dark lord of engineering)

DLOE... I know what you meant in that edit, but it really didn't sound right... 
Anyway... The gremlins are back, as Al and Fawkes got to see firsthand this morning. Only I could manage to accidentally lock myself out of a house that I don't have keys to in the first place. |

I'm rather glad you actually locked the door.
How'd you get out? The front or the back door?
Maybe we need to come up with a special kind of knock/doorbell combo so we know its you. I heard the door but was afraid it was somebody like the psycho neighbor. We didn't figure it out till DLOE's ringtone.
If I ever make it home, I shall sleep greatly...this Chip business has ruined my entire day of productive workness. I guess I was due for an emo moment. |

I just got a new tire on the car, so I'll get the compressor back to you tomorrow at some point.
By the way, I was at the Marietta power main facility today to clear up some stuff over the apartment... if the grid goes down, I promise I'll go hide in a corner for a month.

As for the door getting locked... I left out the garage, and closed the door... As for the knocking... I hope I'll never have that same situation again. With DLOE answering the door (with the Glare of Death), I'd hate to see what kind of crazy neighbour you'd still have to fear.  |
