At least one of her LJ friends posted her first response for me to read..I added it to my "collection" of the master story.
As much as this upsets me, maybe its better that we're not friends...I mean her flighty, screwiness has been wearing on me for a while...we never see each other IRL, and every time we try to make plans, she cancels. I work down the street from the kid's doctors...yet we've never managed to meet for lunch.
I'm sure plenty would not agree of me letting go like this given that I'm their god-mother but I'm only a figurehead...she didn't ask me if I wanted to be it...she told me I was going to be it...just not with the "If I Die, you get the kids" part. I felt stuck in a corner and had no choice but to accept...at least I warned her about my lack of kid skills and schedule.
We'll see how things progress.
Update: We've called a ceasefire for now. But the cat part to this boils down to a severe difference in opinion in how the situation was handled. She deemed him as a health/sanitary issue when what he was doing was behavioral.
Out of it all, she's still choosing to ignore the fact that she cut off my access to her LJ, AND blocked me on her AIM. She fixed it so that I could say nothing else beyond my initial comment and do nothing to defend any of my points while she posts her own comments for everyone else to see except for me.
The only way I got anywhere with all of this was in collecting all that I had and posting it in my own LJ just so that ppl could learn more about what was going on. |

*sigh* Yeah... It really sounds more like her children and such haven't changed her much, really... If I remember correctly, she sometimes used to have a tendancy to overreact to a disasterous degree even back when I knew her.
