I'm not bothering. Why?
It's SEGA, they cant make anything decent anymore aside from the old AM2 games. not to mention NiGHTS and Samba are by Sonic Team, 3/4's of which are now elsewhere, either at Yuji Naka's new company or spread through various departments of SEGA.
Stuff em, if they relelased a new NiGHTS now, after so long of Yuji Naka saying he wanted to do another one but nothing ever coming to light, and then they fuck it up like they have with every other license they've released games for recently (only decent SEGA games I can think ogf this generation are Virtua Fightr 4,. OutRun 2 and Panzer Dragoon Orta. Sorry, but PSU got tiresome after a couple of weeks) then my love of SEGA will be long long gone. You only have to play the <Mega Drive/Genesis Collection thats been released on PS2 and PSP to see just how good they were. |

NiGHTS is winning by a long shot, I voted twice just to fluff the numbers.
I also read that the first Armored Core game to FINALLY be online will be for the two next gen systems I dont already have. Im extremely saddened by this, but looking forward now to getting a PS3 next year. |

I agree, the thought of them making a sequal without Naka-sama is kind of scary. But they hold the license, and I'm willing to give them a chance not to screw it up, if it means I get to have a sequal.
If they do screw it up, I will end up buying it anyway, and maybe just crying a little bit. |

a little bit? is that all, I'd bawl my eyes out, while clutching the discs of NiGHTS and Christmas NiGHTS in each hand.
No mention of Burning Rangers! Thank god, if they tried touching that game again, I'd go down there and burn SEGA HQ to the ground, neither the Burning Rangers nor Sega Sanshiro could save them! |

Well, I have much love for the original, as do many. In my opinion, no matter what they do, it's going to be hard for them to touch the magic that the original game achieved, and to please the mad fandom.
So I won't hold it against them if they fail. I at least want them to try. |

See, I was not a big fan of NiGHTS, but I know how good of a game it is and how much everyone loves it, so I consider myself in the minority.
Also, if I went back and played it now, I would probably love it. But either way, I definatly think they need another NiGHTS. I think that is the title that would help Sega the most. |

I don't know about that, so much. The main reason why NiGHTS has so many die-hard fans is because the gameplay and graphics were revolutionary. The gameplay is still very unique, but I don't know that if the exact same game came out today that it would have as much of an appeal. In fact, it would probably end up in the Bargain Bin. With that in mind, trying to go back and play it now may not lead you to liking it as much as you would think.
HOWEVER. If you have never played this game, I highly recommend it. A lot of people were turned of from it initially because the gameplay was weird, but once you get the hang of it you could really turn out to like it. |

That's what I mean. I probably juyst didn't give it enough of a chance. I'm a much more mature gamer now and would probably find myself liking the game.
Graphics don't make much of a difference to me if the game play is there. |

I think you'd like it Shino, we seem to have pretty similar tastes (you like Omega Boost for example, about the only person I've spoken to who does!) in games and I love it.
But I really think they should leave well alone in regards to a sequel, unless thats what Naka-san is working on with his new development team as theyr'e rumoured to making a Wii game involving flying of some sort. |
