I'm liking how most of this thread is going...we can actually have a political discussion w/o all the politics....though I don't see the need to hide what party you really are...but I suppose some deem this as a more personal question. |

Sorry about being goofy. Just trying to be..well, goofy. XD I can't say for Doot, but I was being silly because I don't belong to a party and wasn't really raised with any political disposition--my mother isn't a citizen, so she never got involved in politics (and somewhat tries to avoid candidate/party oriented discussion), and my dad never talked about it. I have no idea how he voted, although I remember he liked Clinton.
I don't really like politicians or political parties. I have opinions, I see where candidates stand, and I vote accordingly (I don't like to call myself "independent;" most independents have a tendency to vote for the same party every time, they just don't want to claim loyalty to a party). And I guess that since my parents never really talked about politics, I try to avoid it too.
As for my opinions, they are liberal as hell. X)! Both myself and my husband are non-Christian, Buddhist, bisexual, non-capitalist veg*ns, and it sort of comes with the territory. ^o^ |

yeah demo/repub both have gogods and bads. in a perfect world an anarchist society would be acceptable, there wouldn't really be a need for rules. I'm with Shino. I'd get out and vote if there was a political campaign that's main focus were the issues and not bashing the other person.
