I've got 2 sets of itty bitty daggers from the Pirates...they are glorified letter openers.
And 1 that I can only describe as a tripped out Cutlass...I trusted the Pirates for that one...but I want to sell it.
I'm not a swordy kinda gal, I'll be doing good to be at Ren Fair on the closing weekend in garb...that I just bought this past Sunday. |

None of these are sharpened unless stated.
-Katana (set)
-Wakazashi (set)
-Tanto (set)
-Strange Egyptian Ritual Dagger (sharpened)
-Decorative Dagger (sharpened)
-Coat of Arms with two small pull-out daggers
-Family Sword from Toledo, Spain (as in, very high quality)
-Stylized Arabic Sword
-Medieval Short Sword (sharpened)
These are my sporting swords...all are battle-ready, of course, though I have broken a few swords (none of my own) on my body. ^^
-19th Century Sport Foil (rapiers can't be sharpened  )
-2 Electric Foils
-2 Electric Epees
-1 Practice (non-electric) Foil
...All this doesn't include a Scorpion Claw, sharpened Antlers, various Bows, etc. |

I really want another sword soon, but I already got my birthday gift from my parents since I desperately needed shorts for the summer. Quidditch = shorts requiring. |

I don't have anything fancy...
I have cheap replicas of the kill bill swords...
and then I have a couple of chinese swords which I actually use in a kung-fu form...
plus some other random stuff, but really nothing fancy^.^
I'd love to get a really nice rapier and sheath and all that jazz but it's so expensive! I have a friend whose whole families collection is much nicer. They've got really nice replicas of almost every sword or weapon from lord of the rings plus his brother collects katanas and has about 15 or so (some nicer than others).
I'm not very knowledgable about blades though, I pretty much like looking at them and like the idea of carrying one around with a nice sheath and such.

Dloe's b-day prezzie for me is going to be to pay for the tickets (and maybe something shiny---he just doesn't know that part yet)
PM me so we can know where to meet up, and who else will be there. I'm pretty sure I can spot you and Shino, but with the crowdsand costumes, everyone blends in so you never know.

I don't know if mine will be there. There's that whole birthday error thing going on.
To be honest, I don't know who all's going to be there, just that it'll be a -ton- of people. Like, more than previous years, I think. xD
As far as meeting up, I'm PM you my cell phone number, and that'll probably be the easiest way to do so. ^^ We usually get there around close to opening, so if you're there then we'll probably see you, and if not, you can just call when you do get there.
BACK ON TOPIC: I don't want my swords to be sharpened, in all honesty. I wouldn't trust myself with them-- I have cut myself with butter knives on accident on several occasions and avoid real knives whenever possible because of it. I'm just too clumsy. |

funny thing Kugyou was with me at Ga Rennaisnace Festival that day and told me when i was shopping from the pirates "get the Gothic Bastard sword you gothic bastard!"
EDIT: i do have one sword i would like to get. it is a paul champagne katana made from a guy line from hi voltage towers. HIGH carbon content folded sveral times and a razor edge. it should be sweet but the cost will prolly leave that at dream. he also make a nice celtic "mother goddess" sword that is more reasonable |

My collection includes:
The blade of a replica of the wich king's sword from LotR (the hilt was a peice of shit, but the blade is rather sturdy, if not sharpened, my brother and I are currently making a hilt for it)
An el cheapo replica of the sword from blade (it was 20 bucks, but its accualy preaty sturdy. probably wouldent last long blade-blade combat, but it could do blade-flesh)
Paul Chen 440 stainless Katana, battle ready, but not sharp any more (three years of beating the crap out of it will do that) need to get a polishing and sharpening kit
A battle ready straitblade ninja sword Semi-sharp (not razor, but can still cut you)
An whenever I get an extra $600, This baby will be mine

My blade implements are made up of sharpened Mason's trowels (for archaeology use) and a large piece of flint-knapped obsidian that works as a nice hand blade.
But I prefer a more blunt instrument. You know, pick axes, maces, staffs, hammers.....Big suprise there. |
