Well honestly I have never had a problem with the Wiimote in accuracy or response except for the Wii Sports baseball where the pitcher will pitch before I'm ready but that's still due to me moving the Wiimote (usually picking it up from my lap or something). They should have had a "Pitch" button where it won't pitch unless you're holding it. If you've had major problems I'd suggest your Wiimotes are defective...or you are. In my experience, when people lose games or perform poorly...it's usually the controller. heh heh. |

I'm not quite sure why I'm a fanboy Gaaz. Is it because of my 1337 motor-skills that you lack? I have a 360, PS2, Wii & Dreamcast all hooked up....I guess I'm a fanboy of the videogame industry....while you're a fanboy of what? Cynicism? Negativity? I understand if you dont have the fine muscle control needed to keep your cursor on the screen, but thats not the controllers fault. You didnt get good at games in the firstplace without practicing, did you hate analog controls when Nintendo was the innovator of that? From what I've read of your posts on the Wii you've given it as much time as someones 87 year old grandmother when they convince them to pick up a "standard" controller...what is that like 20 minutes? I'm not saying it's perfect yet, but I think it's a hell of a lot more perfect than 1st generation graphics on new consoles when they are released....Fantavision anyone? I guess I'm expecting that as developers learn more about the limits & abilities of the Wii-motes that they will improve....just like graphics. As an industry we're in uncharted territory, if you prefer to sit at home & hear about whats going on with the pioneers thats cool. But if all you are is a spectator, then no comments from the peanut gallery, I say. |

Nintendo have never denied that Smash Bros Brawl was going to be using more traditional controls, in fact I'm pretty sure they stated that it would as soon as they announced the game. |

Yep I didn't give the Wii a chance...Playing Zelda for 9 hours isn't giving it a chance.
Playing Trauma Center and Red Steel for at least 3 hours each still didn't give it a chance.
Played DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichu for over 20 hours.
Yep...I never gave the Wii a chance.
And your "Mad 1337" gaming skillz are nothing. I have this magical ability to take a hand gun which weighs well over 7 pounds hold it steady and hit a target from over 15 feet away. Yet for some reason a 2 ounce controller I can't hold and keep it on the center of the TV screen from 6 feet away.
I'm glad we could have this talk about how you can't admit the Wii is using first gen GameCube graphics and a controller that was slapped together because had they kept the old style of controller the Wii would have failed on the world market. |

Thats not the point Gaaz. You say the controls dont work or they are glitchy. I'm just saying that I think they work amazingly well. I love good graphics, if I didnt I wouldn't have an HD set but if you bought a Wii with the expectation of uber-graphics, the problem isn't with the Wii. It's with you. Also, the 1337 comment I made was tongue in cheek, and had nothing to do with 'gaming skills' I said motor skills. Also, no doubt about the graphics, hell, I said that if they were really smart they would have a bad-ass Gamecube trade in program where they would recycle parts common to both systems. But I dont feel that the controller was slapped together, perhaps the developement tools were, but the hardware itself, no. |

Oh yeah, I know. Im just saying cuz I was reading an interview with the VP? of Nintendo or someone up there and he said that, "Yes, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy and Zelda for DS (The whatever Hourglass) will in fact come out this year!"
No date was given but he said they will come out. Mario is slated for Dec 31st last time I checked. |

A good new look too!

Twilight Princess fans will be happy.

If only all official websites were this helpful. The Smash Bros. DOJO!! has been posting multiple updates each week, providing insight into the development and design of the massively anticipated Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii.
Today's update brings us a new look at Zelda, who, like Link, sports a more detailed design, complete with what Producer Masahiro Sakurai calls a "subdued color scheme." Zelda may be weaker and less nimble than some of the other warriors, but her glowing appendages hold some magical secrets of their own.
Check out the new screens below and stay tuned for additional Super Smash Bros. Brawl updates and revelations.
